Senior Fellows Program

“The ultimate test of practical leadership is the realization of intended, real change
that meets people’s enduring needs.” – James MacGregor Burns

As the network of ALF chapters has grown, several chapters now have hundreds of alumni, known as ALF Senior Fellows. These networks serve as regional catalysts and stewards, providing broad reach into the business, government and social institutions that make up the communities ALF serves.

Networks of Responsibility

Each year approximately 250 Senior Fellows – graduates of the one-year program – are added to a network of more than 4,500 Senior Fellows nationwide. These men and women are ready to support one another’s causes, whether in their original chapters or in new communities to which their professional and personal lives have led them. Chapters offer programs and activities to sustain ALF teachings and to support the growing network of Senior Fellows in that community. In addition, ALF chapter websites provide tools to help Senior Fellows stay in touch and work together for the common good.
